Terms of service.

 

FAMOUS STAGES RENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Read all requirements BEFORE paying for a reservation, because if you make a reservation, but fail to meet our rental requirements when you pick up the rental, we can only refund a maximum of 95% of the amount you paid due to credit card processing fees.

 

1. The BIG requirement... ONE PERSON!!

ONE PERSON must show a CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE with an address in one of the following counties: Harris, Montgomery, Liberty, Chambers, Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend, or Waller. We have a Zip Code List that we will verify all addresses with.

That same person must pay for the rental reservation with a debit or credit card in their name.

That same person must have their name on the rental contract.

2. If this is your first rental, be prepared to show us a copy of a water/gas/electric bill to verify your address.

3. WE ONLY RENT TO INDIVIDUALS... Not to COMPANIES!

We must have ONE PERSON's name on everything. No Company names.

 

4. YOU CAN NOT SEND SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK UP YOUR RENTAL ORDER.

 

5. We can not help LOAD any rental equipment in to your vehicle.

 

6. We can not help UNLOAD any rental equipment out of your vehicle.

If you send someone else to return your equipment and they are not capable of unloading the rental equipment, we will charge $100.00 to unload the equipment and then you will be barred from renting from us again. Our prices are based on the customer loading and unloading.

 

7. All rentals MUST be paid by debit or credit card in rental customers name, with an expiration date at least 3 months later than the rental return date… NEVER CASH OR CHECK!

 

8. All Damage Deposit refunds must be applied to the same card that they were charged on. No Exceptions! If the original card is not available, FAMOUS STAGES will mail a check to the renters address on our rental contract 2 months after the products are returned (less any bank or credit card fees).


For all customers with 2 CREDIT Cards, (NOT DEBIT CARDS):

1. If the customer meets all requirements above, and has 2 CREDIT cards in their name. We will charge the rental cost on one card and charge the deposit on the second card. If your first rental exceeds $250, please call us first for additional verification before paying for your reservation online.

 

For all customers with 1 CREDIT Card, (NOT DEBIT CARD):

1. If the customer meets all requirements above, and has 1 CREDIT card in their name. We will charge the rental cost on one card and charge the deposit on the same credit card or on a second card that can be a debit card. You will be limited to renting $150 until we establish a satisfactory rental history with you.

 

For all customers with 1 or more DEBIT Cards:

1. If the customer meets all requirements above, and has 1 or more DEBIT cards in their name. We will charge the rental cost on one card and deposit on the same debit card or on a second card that can be a debit card. You will be limited to renting $120 until we establish a lengthy and satisfactory rental history with you.

 

If this is your FIRST RENTAL, you can rent up to $50 with 1 debit card (be prepared to show a copy of a water/gas/electric bill to verify your address.)

 

If you have no debit or credit cards, we will accept cash for a rental if you pay a deposit with cash equal to 100% of the retail value of the rental products. When you return the products, we will refund all except the regular rental fee.


All rental reservations October 15th thru January 2nd will require full payment of rental fee at time of reservation in order to be honored, with NO refunds on any cancellations. The rest of the year, all cancelations within 72 hours will result in a 50% refund.

We reserve the right to refuse rentals to anyone.
